SUBSTANCE: claimed group of inventions relates to metal forming and can be used to obtain a T-shaped article having an upper elongated plate element, two vertical walls and two flanges. Blank is used, which in the unfolded flat state has an edge which is formed on one side of the workpiece defined in the length direction, and an additional part formed on the edge. Edge of the additional part includes convex and concave parts adjacent to each other. Blank is bent with relative movement of the die and / or a bending element by applying pressure by means of a pressure pad. Simultaneous displacement of the edges of the blank towards each other occurs.
EFFECT: high accuracy of the shape of the finished product due to the suppression of out-of-plane deformation.
