SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. In order to avoid the formation of defects in a glass coverslipping film, a laser sheet processing apparatus comprises a laser oscillator emitting a laser beam, wherein a laser beam focused on an electrical steel sheet with an oriented grain structure, is a linearly polarized light and is scanned in the scanning direction, and the angle between the direction of linear polarization and the scanning direction is greater than 45° and is equal to or no more than 90°.
EFFECT: avoiding the formation of defects in a glass coverslipping film.
