FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-voltage equipment and can be used in repair or preventive maintenance to monitor the state of high-voltage circuits of direct and alternating current with voltage up to 30 kV, in laboratory or field conditions. High-voltage measuring device contains a resistive divider whose upper arm is connected to a high-voltage connector, and the lower one to the first terminal of a control resistor connected by a second terminal to the device body, a microammeter connected to the control resistor by means of a bridge rectifier, the accuracy of which is determined by direct and alternating current separately from two variable resistors, a commutated switch. Safety of operation of a high-voltage measuring device and its portability are provided by pouring its high-voltage elements with an epoxy compound and placing them in a metal grounded housing.

EFFECT: technical result in the implementation of the claimed device is the expansion of the possibilities of using a high-voltage measuring device, increase of reliability and safety of operation in the temperature range from minus 50 to plus 50 °C, improvement of weight and size characteristics.
