FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of gas cleaning by adsorbents, namely to gas-cleaning equipment, and can be used in chemical, metallurgical and other industries. Adsorber comprises vertical case divided by perforated zigzag-shape webs into sections to make staggered confusers and diffusers, top and bottom grates and gas feed and discharge branch pipes. Gas inlet manifold is a tapered truncated cone, on the inner surface of which there are helical longitudinally arranged grooves. Grooves are structurally made in the form of a dovetail. Inner surface of the vertical casing is covered with a heat-insulating and heat-accumulating layer made in the form of bundles of elongated basalt fibers, located from the inlet pipe to the outlet pipe. Coating of the helical grooves with a dovetail profile is made with a nanoscale vitreous film of tantalum oxide.
EFFECT: invention ensures the maintenance of normalized energy consumption during long-term operation when cleaning with a gas adsorber with varying concentrations of vapor-forming and fine solid particles and vapor-like pollutants.
