SUBSTANCE: packed gas drying absorber contains a housing with gas inlet branch pipes, a dry gas discharge, an inlet and an outlet of the absorbent, and an inlet separation section located in the housing, a mass exchange absorption packed section and an outlet filter section. The gas inlet branch pipe has the form of a tapering nozzle to a smaller hole, and a large hole of the converging nozzle is provided with a circular groove connected to the sump, with curvilinear grooves along the cycloid line as a brachistochrone on the inner surface of the nozzle, and the profile of the curvilinear groove has the form of a dovetail.

EFFECT: invention allows to prevent plugging of the branch pipe grooves with solid droplet forming particles.
