FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antimicrobial coating compositions. Antimicrobial coating composition is described that contains: (i) silane with the structure (1), (ii) peroxotitanic acid and peroxo-modified anatase sol, and (iii) triethanolamine, with R1, R2 and R3 selected from the group consisting of -OH and -O-alkyl, and R4 is selected from the group consisting of -O-alkyl and substituted -alkyl, including γ-chlorine propyl γ-amino-propyl and alkyl-substituted quaternary ammonium salt. Method for forming an antimicrobial coating on the surface is also described.
EFFECT: coating composition of antimicrobial action is described.
