FIELD: genetics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biological matrices applicable for genetic sequencing and for detection and research of various molecules, families of molecules, levels of gene expression, single nucleotide polymorphisms, and for genotyping. Described is a flow-through cell containing a structured substrate including recesses. A layer of functionalised coating is applied to the recesses of the structured substrate of the flow-through cell. The recesses are separated from each other by intermediate sections. The primer is grafted to the layer of the functionalised coating resulting in a grafted layer of the functionalised coating located in the recesses. The hydrogel is applied to at least the grafted layer of the functionalised coating.

EFFECT: technical result is improved formation of monoclonal clusters and purity of the main component of the cluster in wells with polyclonal clusters which additionally increases sequencing yield and data quality.
