SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the use of chemical compositions to create a self-disinfecting surface. Method for creating an antimicrobial coating on a surface is proposed, which involves placing a composition containing a mixture of organosilane and triethanolamine on said surface, where said organosilane has structure (1), where R1 is selected from the group consisting of -H, -CH3 and -CH2-CH3, and R2 is selected from the group consisting of 3-aminopropyl and 3-chloropropyl.

EFFECT: proposed method allows to obtain coatings with sustainable antimicrobial efficacy.
