FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of pharmaceutical particles during the deposition process in the manufacture of a pharmaceutical product. This method for producing microparticles of a compound having the formula 3,6-bis(N-fumaryl-4-aminobutyl)-2,5-diketopiperazine includes the following steps: providing a reactor having a reaction chamber and comprising an assembly of stators comprising at least a first stator and a second stator in the reaction chamber and an assembly of rotors comprising at least two or more rotors; rotation of the rotor assembly relative to the rotation axis of the stator assemblies; feeding the first reactant containing the acetic acid solution into the reaction chamber at the first radial location; and feeding the second reactant containing 3,6-bis(N-fumaryl-4-aminobutyl)-2,5-diketopiperazine, dissolved in the main solution, into the reaction chamber in the region of the second radial position, which differs from the first radial position, wherein the first and second reactants react to produce microparticles in the reaction chamber.
EFFECT: invention provides an improved method for the production of particles in a continuous deposition process.
