FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to determine the indications for conducting needling of filtration pad (FP) after antiglaucoma surgery. For this purpose, remote thermography is carried out in the conjunctiva in the area of the filtration cushion. With an area of filtration cushion 5 mm2 and less and temperatures above 32 °C or with an area larger than 5 mm2 and temperatures above 33 °C determine the indications for needling.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the accuracy of indications for conducting needling filtration after antiglaucoma surgery, which allows correction of IOP and determine further individual treatment tactics for each patient.
