FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used to predict the effectiveness of sinustrabeculectomy. The patient in the early postoperative period is subjected to optical coherence tomography (OCT) of the area of the filtration cushion with the construction of a three-dimensional image. Its volume is calculated and in the absence of cystic changes and the volume of the filtration cushion is more than 5.7 mm3, the effectiveness of sinustrabeculectomy is predicted.
EFFECT: invention provides for the determination of tactics for managing patients in the postoperative period and possible adjustment of treatment due to the stated prognostic criterion
