FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to fluids for fracturing a subterranean formation used in the extraction of hydrocarbons from a subterranean formation. Fracturing fluid containing in an aqueous medium an associative polymer and a labile surfactant in sufficient amount to reduce or suppress the effect of increasing viscosity caused by said associative polymer. Method of extracting hydrocarbons in a hydrocarbon formation, comprising a step where said fracturing fluid is injected into a hydrocarbon formation, where the temperature and/or pH conditions are acceptable for the decomposition of all or part of the labile surfactant. Invention is developed in subclaims.
