FIELD: military equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of military equipment, in particular to devices for reducing the thermal visibility of armored vehicles with the engine running. Above exhaust port (3) of the device for exhausting the engine, a movable, having one degree of freedom in a parallel plane, made of metal box (5). On its inner surface there is heat-reflecting heat-resistant coating (7). On its outer upper surface there are heat-reflecting heat-resistant shields (4), separated relative to each other air interlayers. Box (5) is fastened to body (1) of the machine by means of movable fastening (2) with the location of inlet (8) opening of box (5) directly above outlet branch pipe (3) of the machine. Hydromechanical door closer (9) of box (1) is fixed in such a way, that in the event of a collision with an obstacle, when the machine is moving, box (1) in order to exclude its mechanical damage, is deflected under the influence of an obstacle towards the machine and then returns to its original position under the action of the creating force by hydromechanical door closer (9). Exhaust gas flow during engine operation occurs through intake (8) and outlet (6) openings.
EFFECT: provides a reduction in the thermal visibility of the machine with a running engine and a reduction in the probability of its destruction by high-precision weapons.
