FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foundry engineering and can be used for manufacture of foundry ceramic molds from investment patterns in manufacture of precision castings from ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. Suspension includes ethyl silicate, acetone, water, hydrochloric acid, powdered refractory filler marshallite and technological additive – salt with a divalent cation, while as a salt with a bivalent cation, the suspension contains copper chloride or magnesium sulfate and has a viscosity of 45 s, in the following ratio, pts. wt.: ethyl silicate 51.0; acetone 40.0; water 8.5; hydrochloric acid 0.5; copper chloride 1.0–6.0; magnesium sulfate 1.0–8.0; marshallite – the rest.
EFFECT: simplifying the cleaning of castings from ceramic forms and improving the quality of a casting surface.
