SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for separating hydrocarbons with heat recovery in a fractionation column. Stream containing hydrocarbons is fed into a first separation zone for separation into an overhead stream and a bottom stream. At least a portion of the overhead vapour stream is passed to the two-stage compressor of a heat pump into a compression zone, configured to obtain a first output stream and a second output stream. Heat transfer from at least a portion of the first output stream of the compression zone to the first separation zone; removal of heat from the second output stream of the compression zone and passing the second output stream of the compression zone to the second separation zone. Second separation zone is characterised by pressure greater than the pressure of the overhead stream.
EFFECT: efficient separation of various hydrocarbons due to heat recovery.
