FIELD: nuclear physics and equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the nuclear reactor period, power and reactivity monitoring methods and devices. Nuclear reactor power, reactivity and period controlling method consists in the fact, that using the one indicating instrument, wherein along the abscissa axis the power units scale is placed, along the ordinate axis placing the scale in seconds and the scale in inverse seconds in the range of the terms of the brought to three-term form the nuclear reactor kinetics equation for controlled values in the form r(t)=α(t)+Isign(t)/n(t) or r(t)=v(t)/n(t)+Isign(t)/n(t), where r(t)=ρ(t)/Λ is reactivity in the Λ-scale, ρ is absolute reactivity, Λ is the instantaneous neutrons generation time, t is time, α(t)=v(t)/n(t) is the reverse period, v is the power change rate, n is the nuclear reactor power, Isign is the delayed neutrons integral; outputting the kinetics equation graph x(n) term component to the indicating device and to the graph field placing the palette, made in the form of a network of lines intersecting the lines x(n)=a+b*n graph field, where b is the relative rate of change setpoint of the displayed on the graph x value: dx/dn≤b.
EFFECT: reduction in the number of indicating devices, increase in the nuclear reactor current state operator’s assessment adequacy.
