FIELD: experimental nuclear physics; investigating radioactive decay of some nuclei, as well as neutrons and other particles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes measurement of count rate of decay products and flow of investigated substance through check-up zone. Count rate is measured by time intervals between detector signals. During measurements source substance flow is varied until repeatability of flow values and their compliance with detector sensitivity are obtained.
EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy.
