FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods for supplying a vacuum to a vacuum-consuming device in vehicle systems for a hybrid electric vehicle. Method includes a step of directing, during movement of a vehicle with a hybrid electric drive and in the absence of fuel directed to the engine, the engine intake air through an ejector in order to supply a vacuum to the brake booster regardless of the vacuum in the brake booster. Method also includes a step of directing, in a second state, which includes a vacuum in the engine intake manifold which is greater than the threshold vacuum in the intake manifold, the intake air of the engine through the ejector in order to transfer the vacuum through the ejector from the brake booster regardless of the vacuum in the brake booster. Method also includes a step of opening a valve in fluid communication with the ejector, regardless of the vacuum level in the vacuum tank, in a state in which the hybrid vehicle system is driven only by torque of an electric motor, wherein when the valve is opened, the vacuum is transferred from the ejector to the vacuum tank. Vacuum supply system comprises: an engine, an electric motor, a controller. Engine contains a brake booster ejector and flow control valve. Control valve is connected to the control valve of the brake booster ejector. Controller contains commands to control the direction of the vacuum.
EFFECT: reduction of automatic engine starts and an increase in overall fuel efficiency.
