FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of transport machine building. Motorised underframe for rail vehicle comprises drive elements, braking equipment and suspension, as well as two wheelsets supported on the frame. One of the wheelsets has an axle, a two-stage gearbox with axle offset and two wheels pressed on the axle. Frame is formed by two longitudinal members curved downwards with their middle area and one cross member which connects the middle areas of the longitudinal members with each other. Cross member provides fasteners for two electric drive motors and for disc brake equipment for each wheel. Process opening is made in the middle area of the cross member, which allows to locate elements of the lemniscate mechanism. Underframe further includes an angular oscillation damper, which at one end is attached to the frame, and the other end is connected to the console, which is made independently of the frame and is connected to the car body.

EFFECT: improved smoothness and resistance to angular oscillations.
