FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the foundry and can be used in machine building in the internal combustion engines pistons manufacturing. Hypereutectic silumin AK-18 melt with the temperature for 150–200 K above the alloy crystallization beginning temperature is poured into a mold heated to the temperature, which is for 150–200 K below the alloy crystallization beginning temperature. Poured melt is for 3–5 s compressed under pressure of 200–250 MPa between moving towards each other internally cooled plungers. At that, performing the pressure moulding by 8–10 %. Over the next 30–40 s, increasing the pressure to 350–400 MPa and bringing the total pressure moulding to 12–13 % under conditions of unidirectional along the billet axis heat removal until the crystallization process completion. Then, the resulting dimensional workpiece is subjected to isothermal stamping in the stamp, as well as thermal and mechanical processing.
EFFECT: result is enabling of the homogeneous fine-grained structure production in the piston entire volume.
