FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Ligature rod is introduced through the tuyere that has been spoiled into the melt simultaneously with an inert gas into the stream of molten metal. Metal with a dissolved ligature rod is affected by low-frequency oscillations or ultrasound. Oscillation emitter is located behind the entry point of the ligature rod in the direction of movement of the metal. Supply of inert gas in the tuyere is maintained at a level that ensures that the tuyere is filled with gas without the release of gas into the molten metal stream.

EFFECT: improvement the efficiency of modifying aluminum and its alloys with bar ligatures during casting and crystallization of metal is ensured.
