METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE RISK OF DEVELOPMENT OF ACQUIRED CARDIOMYOPATHY BEFORE SPORTS ACTIVITIES Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01N33/50 G01N33/68 G01N33/74

Abstract RU 2674759 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatric cardiology. Invention is a method for risk prediction of developing acquired cardiomyopathy before playing sports, including determining the concentration of troponin-T, N-terminal natriuretic peptide in children’s serum 1 month before the start of sports, interleukin-4 (IL-4) and interleukin-6 (IL-6), however, a high risk of developing acquired cardiomyopathy is predicted at a troponin-T concentration of 0.37 to 0.48 ng/ml, with a concentration of the N-terminal natriuretic peptide from 66.2 to 77.1 pg/ml, at a concentration of IL-4 from 2.6 to 3.1 pg/ml and at a concentration of IL-6 from 7.3 to 9.7 pg/ml and a low risk of developing secondary cardiomyopathy is predicted at a troponin-T concentration of from 0.21 to 0.36 ng/ml, when the concentration of N-terminal natriuretic peptide is from 35.3 to 43.5 pg/ml, at the concentration of IL-4 from 3.4 to 4.58 pg/ml and at the concentration of IL-6 from 5.6 to 6.9 pg/ml.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving accuracy of predicting the risk of developing acquired cardiomyopathy in children beginning to play sports.
