SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of personal care devices. Hair cutting device comprises a main housing, a hair-cutting module, a spring tool and a sensor system for measuring the axial displacement of the hair cutting module. Hair cutting module can move relative to the main housing in a direction parallel to the main axis. Sensor system includes first and second sensor units configured to move relative to each other when cutting module tilts about the axis of inclination. First sensor unit is installed in a first and a second position relative to the main housing. Second sensor unit is installed in a third and a fourth position relative to the hair cutting module next, respectively, to the first and second positions in a direction parallel to the main axis. Distance between the first and second position is 25 % of the distance between the first and third position. When the hair cutting module tilts relative to the main housing, the change in the distance between the first and third position differs from the change in the distance between the second and fourth position.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of shaving.
