FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of zeolites. Granulated crystalline zeolite without binder of MFI type and the method of its synthesis. Method includes the impregnation of solid particles of silica gel with a solution of the reaction mixture to obtain a precursor, characterized by a composition corresponding to the crystallization region of the MFI type zeolite. Precursor molar ratio of SiO2:Al2O3 is not less than 30, the molar ratio of MeOH:SiO2 is less than 0.3, where MeOH is an alkali metal hydroxide, the molar ratio R:SiO2 is in the range from 0.02 to 0.20, where R is an organic template suitable for crystallization of MFI-type zeolite. After impregnation of silica gel with a solution of the reaction mixture, the precursor is dried to a residual moisture content of 15–25 % wt. at a temperature of not more than 30 °C. Then crystallization is carried out at elevated temperature in the absence of free water, washing and drying of solid particles having the form identical to the shape of the particles of the starting silica gel.

EFFECT: technical result is to obtain a zeolite with a high degree of crystallinity, developed porous structure and high acidity with high strength of the granules.
