FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of zeolites. Disclosed is a crystalline zeolite ZSM-5 granules without a binder and a method for production thereof. Method involves mixing powdered zeolite ZSM-5, kaolin, ground silica gel and oligomer esters of an orthosilicic acid in an amount such that the total weight of the components in the mixture is: powdered zeolite ZSM-5 24–37 %; kaolin 7–11 %; ground silica gel 53–60 %; oligomeric esters of orthosilicic acid 3–5 %, moistening of the obtained mixture is carried out by adding water, forming granules, drying and calcining the molded granules is carried out at 550–700 °C for 2–5 hours, hydrothermal crystallisation is carried out from reaction mixtures of the following composition: (3.0–4.0)Na2O⋅(0.5–2.3)R⋅Al2O3⋅(60–80)SiO2⋅(450–900)H2O, where R is an organic template, at 110–120 °C for 48–72 hours, obtained granules after double washing with water and drying are calcined at 550–600 °C for 3–4 hours.
EFFECT: obtaining a zeolite having a high degree of crystallinity and a developed porous structure.
