FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular, to structures designed to protect civil and industrial facilities from destruction during landslide phenomena in unstable soils and in areas with increased seismic risk. Design of the protective structure to strengthen the landslide slopes is a geogrid of rings or parts of other shapes located on a slope in a checkerboard pattern. Upper part of the ring located on the slope is perforated to ensure the collection of water and the rings are connected to each other by overflow pipes also acting as fasteners, and the internal cavity of the rings is filled with rubble, which provides a drainage effect.

EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring the strengthening of the slopes, which provides for the containment of landslide masses and allowing to organize the discharge of surface water, in order to facilitate the topsoil.
