Disclosed is a system for preventing a mechanical damage of an internal combustion engine, due to inefficient lubrication of the engine itself, comprising means for measuring or estimating pressure (P) of a lubrication circuit of the internal combustion engine, processing means (ECU) configured to activate means for preventing mechanical damage of internal combustion engine (E) at each starting of the latter, until said pressure is below a predetermined threshold.
EFFECT: disclosed is a system to prevent mechanical damage to an internal combustion engine due to insufficient lubrication of the engine itself.
