FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil supply system and methods. Disclosed are oil pressure control systems and methods, supplied to engine components. In one embodiment, engine oil flow control method involves oil pressure control, supplied to engine, based on engine acceleration. For example, engine acceleration can be used to predict future demands for engine lubrication, so, that oil pressure control could be planned accordingly. In second embodiment, control method involves controlling oil pressure in first mode to first value in response to acceleration, and in second mode oil pressure is controlled to second value in response to acceleration, wherein first value differs from second value. Disclosed is oil supply system for piston internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: invention enables improved engine lubrication by controlling oil supply depending on engine speed.
