FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lighting devices. Result is achieved in that low-power load arrangement (3) comprises low-power load (3); driver (2) for low-power load (3); connectors (300) for connecting to electronic transformer (2) configured for converting mains power supply (4) to power supply for normal-power load (5); and reverse current generating means (LP, SB) configured to provide reverse current (Irev_LP, Irev_SB) to sustain self-oscillation during operation of electronic transformer (2), wherein the direction of current flow of reverse current (Irev_LP, Irev_SB) is opposite in direction to the output current of the electronic transformer. Invention also describes lighting arrangement (1) comprising: electronic transformer (2) configured for converting mains power supply (4) to a power supply for a normal-power load; low-power load (3) connected to electronic transformer (2), which low-power load (3) comprises low-power light source (30); and wherein lighting arrangement (1) comprises reverse current generating means (LP, SB) configured to provide reverse current (Irev_LP, Irev_SB) to sustain transformer self-oscillation when transformer (2) drives low-power load (3), wherein the direction of current flow of reverse current (Irev_LP, Irev_SB) is opposite in direction to the output current of electronic transformer (2). Invention also describes a method of driving low-power load (3) with electronic transformer (2) configured for driving normal-power load (5).
EFFECT: technical result is ensuring the stability of the lighting arrangement when working with a low-power load device, such as light-emitting diodes.
