FIELD: nuclear power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the nuclear power engineering, in particular, to the VVER and PWR types water-cooled thermal-neutron reactors reactor installations. VVER and PWR type nuclear power reactor power maneuvering method consists in using a combination of three means of influencing the reactor reactivity and the maneuvering technological parameters: mechanical and fluid control systems and the second circuit pressure. At that, the power is also controlled by the coolant through the reactor flow rate changing and the influence various means participation share is selected based on the maneuvering parameters permissible deviations.
EFFECT: simplification of the perspective process automation, providing the possibility of maneuvering during the entire fuel campaign, including without using mechanical and fluid control systems, and preventing the axial xenon oscillations.
