SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an aerosol-forming material that emits an aerosol and / or gas when heated. In the method, the component for producing an aerosol using electric heating includes an aerosol-forming material and an electrically resistive heating element, where the electrically resistive heating element is at least partially enclosed in the aerosol-forming material and where the solid aerosol-forming material contains: about 5–35 % wt. of the tobacco extract; about 50–80 % wt. of the filler; about 10–35 % wt. of the aerosol forming agent; and about 2.5–10 % wt. of the binder, where the mass ratio is given per weight in the dry state.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is the improvement of the aerosol-forming material, which releases an aerosol and / or gas when heated.
