SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering. Method of accessing data in a processor-paired memory comprises receiving a memory access command for accessing the first-size data at a memory address, moreover, the memory access command sets the first size, revealing by the processor the size of the address alignment, including counting the number of trailing zeros in the address in binary representation, identifying, by the processor, the largest common divisor for the first size and for the identified alignment size and obtaining access to the first size data in one or several data groups by obtaining block-parallel access to each group of data, and data groups have sizes that are multiples of the size of the largest common divisor.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the efficiency of access to memory data.
