FIELD: processing and recycling of waste.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns the technology of utilization of industrial waste and can be used in the tire and rubber industries and specifically relates to a rubber compounds semivulcanization retardant based on recycled phthalic anhydride bottom product. Rubber compounds semivulcanization retardant derived from phthalic anhydride bottom product distillation and contains phthalic anhydride and by-products. By-products are presented in the form of a resin obtained by treating the bottom product of phthalic anhydride distillation at a temperature of 240÷290 °C and shutter speed of at least 30 hours. Retardant has the following composition (wt.%): phthalic anhydride 70÷90, resin 10÷30.

EFFECT: rubber with the proposed retardant for plastoelastic properties, including resistance to semivulcanization, are equivalent to mixtures with a known retardant; experienced rubber practically does not differ from rubber with a well-known sub-vulcanizer on the complex of physical and mechanical properties, and in some properties (elongation, tear resistance, wear resistance) are superior to them; in addition, the input control of the proposed product is significantly simplified, since it contains fewer components in it.
