FIELD: medicine; pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a solid drug formulation of ospemifene, comprising granular materials containing ospemifene as a therapeutically active compound in combination with 2 wt. % povidone or in combination with 2 wt. % providone, pregelatinised starch and mannitol. As extragranular excipients, the ospemifene drug form contains 4 wt. % sodium starch glycolate, 0.1–2 wt. % lubricating agents and microcrystalline cellulose. Granular materials are made by wet granulation.
EFFECT: solid drug formulation of ospemifene according to the invention is characterised by improved dissolution of the active ingredient.
