FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology for the synthesis of high molecular compounds, specifically to the method for preparing the drag-reducing additive for petroleum and petroleum products in order to reduce the hydrodynamic resistance during their transportation by means of hexene polymerization or the mixture of alpha-olefins in bulk or in the organic solvent medium using the Ziegler-Natta catalysts, which is accompanied by stirring, with the intensity providing for the initial polymerization charge compliance with the centrifugal Reynolds criterion within the range of 400÷2,700, at the temperature from 0÷30 °C, with obtainment of the polymer with the intrinsic viscosity of at least 1.7 m3/kg, followed by isolation of the polymer from the solution and preparation of the dispersion in the organic medium that does not dissolve the poly-alpha-olefin. Resulting solution of the poly-alpha-olefin polymer is supplied through the shower forming device to the degasser with the stirrer, which contains the precipitant solution, which is selected from the group of amino alcohols. At the same time, the polymer is isolated in the form of finely divided granulated material and distilled at the temperature of 50–65 °C followed by the addition of butanol to the amino alcohols in the weight ratio of 70–80:30–20 at the total amount of the mixture of alcohols to polyhexene or of the mixture of alpha-olefins of 70–75 wt%. Drag-reducing additive to petroleum and petroleum products is also declared in order to reduce the hydrodynamic resistance, it is obtained using this method.
EFFECT: creation of the method for the production of the drag-reducing additive to petroleum and petroleum products, which reduces the hydrodynamic resistance during their transportation.
