VALVE FOR ADMINISTERING MULTIPLE LIQUID MEDICINES Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61M39/22

Abstract RU 2675740 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Valve for administering two or more liquid medicines, such as cytostatic, contains: housing having an inner peripheral surface, drug inlets for receiving liquid drugs, which are in fluid connection with corresponding drug outlet openings located on the inner peripheral surface of the housing, and one flush inlet for receiving flush fluid, such as a neutral fluid, and in fluid connection with flushing outlets located on the inner peripheral surface of the housing. Rotary element of the valve has a rotary axis and is equipped with an overflow channel having a separate inlet located on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary element and a separate outlet located coaxially with the indicated rotary axis. Valve is designed the way the rotary element has the ability to rotate in the position of introduction of the drug, in each of which a separate inlet of the bypass channel is in fluid connection with a corresponding one of the outlet ports for the drug in order to direct the corresponding liquid drug through the flow path formed by the overflow channel to the outlet port of the overflow channel, and flushing positions in which a separate inlet of the bypass channel is in fluid connection with a corresponding outlet for flushing to direct the flushing fluid through the same flow path to flush the bypass channel from drug residues. Rotary valve member is configured to limit rotation from one insertion position to another insertion position without entering the flushing position.

EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the sequential introduction of several liquids with valve flushing between the injections.
