FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Valve for administering liquid medicines, such as cytostatic, contains: valve body, primary inlet called “medicine inlet” for receiving a liquid medicine and a secondary inlet called a “saline inlet” for receiving a secondary liquid such as a neutral liquid; outlet and a rotating element of the valve, arranged to be placed by turning to different positions of the valve in the housing and having a primary channel and a secondary channel. Valve positions include: at least one primary valve position, referred to as the “drug injection position”, in which the drug inlet is connected to the outlet and in which the drug inlet is not connected to the saline inlet, and at least one filling/flushing position in which the saline inlet is connected to the outlet via a medicament inlet for filling or flushing the valve with said neutral liquid. In the administration position of the drug, the drug inlet is connected to the outlet by the primary channel and there is no connection between the drug inlet and the secondary channel. In the filling/flushing position, the inlet for the saline solution is connected to the inlet for the drug through the secondary channel and the drug inlet is connected to the outlet through the primary channel. Valve control method for administering liquid medicines is disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the introduction of liquids to ensure the flushing of the valve.
