FIELD: measurement technology; aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermal testing of aircrafts and can be used for ground testing of antenna domes of missiles. Proposed is a method for controlling heating during thermal testing of antenna domes of missiles, including zone heating of the surface of the dome with adjustable electric heaters and measuring the heat flux in each zone by the amount of heat flow delivered to the dome. Moreover, the control and monitoring of radiation heating is performed according to the value of the heat flux density or the radiating power of the heater generated in each heating zone and equal to the heat flux density or the amount of heat supplied to the dome in flight. This claimed method comprises heating control both in automatic mode by a heat flow sensor and by a program for changing the heat flux density or heater power in each heating panel.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of thermal tests of the antenna domes of rockets due to the complete imitation of the flight conditions of the dome according to the heat flux density or the amount of heat supplied during the test and absence of need to calculate and measure temperatures for control.
