METHOD FOR CLASSIFYING MOBILE GROUND EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC G01V1/28 G08B13/16

Abstract RU 2811811 C1

FIELD: seismic reconnaissance.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in security and reconnaissance-alarm complexes and systems for distinguishing detected mobile objects of ground equipment (GE) by class. A method is proposed for classifying moving objects of ground equipment by seismic signal, in which a range of operating frequencies ΔF is selected, characteristic of seismic vibrations of the soil excited by objects of ground equipment of specific classes, dividing this general frequency range ΔF into two bands Δf1 and Δf2 in such a way that in each of these bands most of the energy of seismic vibrations from “its” class of GE is concentrated. In the absence of GE in the sensitivity zone of the seismic sensor, calibration is carried out with a given periodicity, which consists of equalizing the energy of channel noise in the frequency bands Δf1 and Δf2. Deviation of the ratio of the energy of seismic vibrations averaged over a certain period of time, concentrated in the low-frequency band Δf1 to the energy of these vibrations averaged over the same time interval, concentrated in the high-frequency band Δf2 from a unit level, up or down, taking into account the value of the coefficient alignment is an indication of the corresponding class of the detected GE. Classifying GE into the category “light” or “heavy” in its class is achieved by assessing the maximum energy of the seismic signal in a small vicinity of the traverse point, taking into account compensation for spatial losses and losses due to attenuation in the soil.

EFFECT: increase in the stability of the operating algorithm of the device, which implements the registration and processing of seismic signals from mobile GE to changes in weather and climatic conditions and the level of long-term external noise or interference factors.
