SUBSTANCE: vehicle seat with a side-curtain airbag device comprises a gas-forming device, a side-curtain airbag and an extension width area when inflated. Gas forming device joins the inner side of the outer sidewall in the width direction of the vehicle and is located in the side portion outside the back of the seat. Side airbag is inflated and deployed so that it expands over the outer sidewall from the front side of the vehicle outer sidewall in the vehicle width direction by receiving gas from a gas generating device located in the side airbag. Widening expansion area, when inflated, is provided in the side airbag and causes the side airbag to inflate in the vehicle’s width direction more outside the side surface provided outside the outer side wall in the direction of the vehicle width than inside the side surface.
