SUBSTANCE: invention relates to network communication technologies. Error correction method comprising the steps, in which input data is received, processes the input data by regularly transforming it with a forward error correction code (rFEC), the input data are processed through the enhanced FEC transformation (eFEC) and the output data are generated including the rFEC transformation and the eFEC transformation, wherein the rFEC transformation comprises the rFEC encoding transformation or the rFEC decoding transformation, and the eFEC encoding transformation comprises the eFEC encoding transformation or the eFEC decoding transformation.
EFFECT: technical result consists in the increased data transmission rate.
