SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely pharmacology and toxicology, and can be used to determine 8-(trifluoromethyl)benzo[f][1,2,3,4,5]pentathiepin-6-amine hydrochloride in biological media. Method involves the extraction of the analyte with a 0.4 % solution of formic acid in acetonitrile, followed by its determination by high-performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry with isocratic elution mode using as the mobile phase a mixture of a solution of trifluoroacetic acid and a 0.1 % solution of formic acid in methanol in a ratio of 20:80.
EFFECT: using this method allows you to determine the quantitative content of 8-(trifluoromethyl)benzo[f][1,2,3,4,5]pentathiepin-6-amine hydrochloride to study the pharmacokinetics of the drug on the basis of this substance.
