FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to pharmacology and toxicology. Method involves extraction of the substance to be analysed with acetonitrile at acidic pH of the medium with addition of sodium chloride followed by determination thereof using high-performance liquid chromatography with a gradient elution mode using as a mobile phase mixture of 0.5 % potassium phosphate monosubstituted, acidified to pH 4.0 with orthophosphoric acid, and methanol with a concentration gradient of last from 5 to 75 %.
EFFECT: invention can be used for quantitative determination of 4-amino-1-(3-nitro-2-oxo-1-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-1,6-naphthyridin-5-yl)pyridinium chloride in biological media.
