SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pen (1) comprising carpule with longitudinal axis (L) (3), which has first end (5) with dispensing opening to be closed (7), second end (9), through which at least one stopper (13) can be inserted in the direction of longitudinal axis (L), and interior (15) which is tightly closed by closure part (7) and at least one stopper (13), and having central axis (M) and housing (11) accommodating carpule (3), which has piston rod (34) cooperating with at least one stopper (13) and drive (31) for moving at least one stopper (13) inside interior (15) of carpule (3), moreover, carpule (3) is inserted into housing (11) by second end (9) from the front. Pen-type injector (1) differs in that piston rod (34) is fixedly located inside housing (11), when viewed in the direction of central axis (M) of housing (11), drive (31) has drive element (33) interacting with carpule (3), drive element (33), when drive (31) is activated, shifts carpule (3) into housing (11) in direction of its longitudinal axis (L), which is located coaxially with central axis (M) of housing (11), and at the same time piston rod (34) is held in a fixed position relative to longitudinal direction of housing (11), so that piston rod (34) which engages with second end (9) of carpule (3) displaces at least one stopper (13) inside interior (15) of carpule (3) towards its first end (5).
EFFECT: proposed is a pen-type injector.
