SURGICAL STAPLER WITH ROLLING ANVIL Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61B17/72

Abstract RU 2676522 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely, devices for suturing tissue. In the method, the device for suturing tissue contains a shaft, an end effector, the first feature of a fastening assembly and the second feature of a fastening assembly. Said shaft has a distal end. Said end effector is located at the distal end of the shaft, while the end effector forms a gap adapted to receive tissue. Said end effector comprises a first feature for forming the fastener assembly and a second feature for forming the fastener assembly. Said first feature for forming the fastener assembly is located on the first side of the gap, while the mentioned first feature for forming the fastener assembly is rotatable relative to the shaft. Said second feature for forming the fastener assembly is located on the second side of the gap. Said first feature for forming the fastener assembly is adapted to receive the first fastener assembly feature and to arrange the first fastener assembly feature on the first side of the gap. Said first feature of the fastener assemble is made with the possibility of progressive distal movement through the shaft during the rotation of the first feature to form the fastener assembly. Said second feature for forming the fastener assembly is adapted to receive said second fastener assembly feature and to arrange the second fastener assembly feature on the second side of the gap. Said second feature of the fastener assembly is made with the possibility of progressive distal movement through the shaft during rotation of the first feature to form the fastener assembly. Said first and second features of the fastener assembly are adapted to be connected with each other and thus form the fastener assembly. In the second embodiment, the device for suturing tissue contains a shaft, an end effector, the first feature of a fastener assembly and the second feature of a fastener assembly. Said end effector contains a first jaw and a second jaw. Said first jaw has a retainer element, and the retainer element is made with the possibility of rotation inside the first jaw. Said second jaw has a guide element. Said first and second features of the fastener assembly are made with the possibility of connection with each other. Said retainer is made with the possibility of deformation of the area of the second feature of the fastener assembly for fastening the first and second features of the fastener assembly to each other. In the third embodiment, the device for suturing tissue contains a shaft, an end effector, a support strip and a fastener strip. Said end effector comprises a first pivot element and a second pivot element. Said first pivot element is located on the first side of the gap. Said second pivot element is located on the second side of the gap. Above first rotary element is configured to receive the support strip. Above fastening strip has many fasteners. Said second pivot element is adapted to receive the fastening strip. Said support strip is made with the possibility of receiving fasteners for fixing the tissue between the support strip and the fastener strip.

EFFECT: group of inventions provides for the implementation of several separate reliable dissections in the patient's body without the need to remove the end effector from the patient's body.
