FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to stapling tools. Surgical stapling instrument comprises a body, a shaft assembly, an end effector, a cassette with staples and a trigger rod. End effector comprises an anvil and a lower branch. Staple cartridge comprises a platform and brackets. End effector is configured to provide a predetermined gap separating platform surface and corresponding abutment surface, when stopper is in closed position. Fabric can be pressed to the platform when the stop is in the closed position. At least one of the support or platform comprises a compressible element extending to another of the support or platform. At least one compressible element of stop or staple cartridge is configured to press tissue, which is thinner than distance of preset gap to another of stop or staple cartridge, when stop is in closed position. Staple cartridge forms a channel, wherein the compressible element extends at least partially along the channel in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis. Starting rod is located with possibility of sliding in channel and is made with possibility of movement in end effector, causing tissue dissection and stapling. Compressed element is made with possibility to stay on stop or staple cartridge, after the start-up rod moves through the end effector to cut and staple the fabric with staples. End effector for use with a surgical suturing instrument comprises a first branch, a second branch and a compressible element. First jaw comprises first channel extending along plane extending longitudinally. Second jaw comprises a second passage extending along a plane extending longitudinally. First channel and the second channel are configured to receive a slider part of the trigger rod. First jaw is made with possibility of rotation to second jaw for gripping tissue between first and second branches. Compressed element is located along lateral side of one of first channel of first branch or second channel of second branch. Compressible element has cross-section profile in form of curved letter C and is configured to push fabric, captured between first and second branches, to other one of first or second branches.
EFFECT: invention provides a stronger staple line in the tissue and more efficient tissue cutting and suturing.
