INSULATED STRUCTURE FOR TANK AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE THEREOF Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC B29C44/12 B32B5/20

Abstract RU 2676630 C2

FIELD: laminated products or materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of manufacturing an insulating element for a tank, to an insulating element per se, to an insulating structure for a tank, as well as to using said insulating structure for insulating a tank, tank or container. Method of obtaining an insulating element for a tank includes the following steps: coating at least two surfaces of the form with a metal foil; injecting the foaming composition in the form; providing the possibility of formation of foam between the layers of metal foil, in which the foam is in direct contact with the metal foil immediately after its formation, and in which all surfaces of the insulation element are coated with a metal foil, in which the shape of the insulation element remains essentially unchanged when the temperature cycle is applied to one of the metal-coated surfaces of the insulation element, where the specified heat treatment cycle includes at least two cycles of heating to a temperature of 150 °C for at least 12 hours and then keeping at a temperature of 20 °C for at least 12 hours.

EFFECT: invention provides an efficient method of manufacturing insulation elements for storage tanks, the creation of insulation elements with stable thermal insulation properties, possessing the improved temperature stability which can be easily adapted to the form of this tank or capacity for storage.
