METHOD FOR SELECTION OF TREATMENT OF PELVIC ORGAN PROLAPSE AFTER DELIVERY IN EARLY STAGES OF DISEASE Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/00 A61B8/00

Abstract RU 2676632 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to urogynecology, perineology, and can be used to select the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse (POP) after delivery in the early stages of the disease. Clinical-anamnestic data and the results of a comprehensive diagnostic examination of the patient, which is carried out during the first 6 months after delivery, are evaluated. Determine phenotypic, ultrasound and genetic features of the pathological process. Score is given to each characteristic according to table 3 descriptions. With a score of up to 21, a low risk of POP progression is established, and the patient is given conservative treatment. With a score of 21–50, a high risk of POP progression is established and surgical treatment of the disease is performed.

EFFECT: method allows to determine the risk groups for the progression of POP, as well as to make the choice of the optimal method of treatment in the early stages of the disease due to the assessment of the complex of the most significant indicators.
