FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing mechanically sensitive mesoporous film materials with properties of rigid polymers, which are intended for wide application in various fields of science and engineering. Method includes primary uniaxial drawing of a semi-crystalline (SC) polymer article with a degree of crystallinity of 20 to 80 % of an elongated shape in the presence of an organic solvent to draw ratio of 25 to 250 % of the initial length of the article. Further, the article is held in a free state at room temperature in air with complete removal of the physically active liquid medium (FALM) from its volume. Secondary uniaxial drawing is carried out at room temperature in air. Obtained polymer material acquires properties characteristic of rigidly elastic polymer materials. When mechanical load is applied in cyclic mode with subsequent stages of unloading, samples reproduce their behavior, demonstrating formation of porosity at load and restoration of initial dimensions with porosity to zero level at removal of voltage. At the same time value of porosity and shrinkage of rigidly elastic polymer materials does not depend on number of cycles of load/unloading.
EFFECT: invention provides mechanically sensitive polymer materials with rigid-elastic properties based on a wide range of industrial SC polymers and formation of open porosity of up to 40 volume % with pore size of up to 20 nm.
