FIELD: instrumentation; measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to photometry and can be used in fire optic-electronic point smoke detectors (FOEPSD). Claimed light-absorbing device has limited by the light-absorbing surface closed cavity with inlet opening. Closed cavity space consists of one or several spaces of the semicircular profile concentric torus-shaped grooves, their surfaces are made reflective. As the grooves middle circumferences radii increase, each second groove is made on the second part. As the grooves middle circumferences radii increase, each additional groove is combined with at least half of the previous groove. Normal line to the minimal on the first part groove surface, is not directed into the made in the second part inlet hole. Formed by the minimum groove on the first part around the groove geometrical axis figure ends with the nib. Closed cavity may be further connected to the outer space through circumferentially distributed openings, thereby forming connecting the outer space to the inlet opening the light-absorbing channel.
EFFECT: creation of small-sized relative to the prototype light-absorbing device.
